Japanese pianist Jun Kanno is heir to the best French tradition, as a disciple of Yvonne Loriod and Vlado Perlemuter … his touch is very balanced and harmonious, his sound clean and his style, personal … the refinement of the melody and the elegance of the movement … we marvel at the rich and imaginative performance that is discovered.

Jun is working on a new album, « Préludes de C. Debussy 1er et 2ème livres » (First and Second Books of Debussy’s Preludes). Recording will start in April 2013.
